My area of focus while in college was studying piano performance under the tutelage of Dr Ksenia Nosikova at the University of Iowa.

My passion for composing music began soon after graduating with a bachelor’s degree, when I started studying the elements of composition on my own. Later on, I pursued lessons with Emmy Award winning composer Stephen Cohn. Since then, I’ve had my works performed with the San Marco Chamber Music Society and the Florida Chamber Music Project, with another concert scheduled at the St Augustine Music Festival in June 2025.

Writing music for me acts as a therapeutic and a means of expressing what is difficult to convey in words. It allows me to share those experiences with an audience. Ultimately, music allows me to create meaningful connections with others both emotionally and intellectually and to become more in touch with myself in ways I wouldn’t understand otherwise.
